Russia's Middle East peace envoy Alexander Sultanov met Wednesday in Cairo with Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa to talk about the subjects of Lebanon and Iraq and a proposed international conference on the Middle East.

Russia and Arab League share the same ideas on the solution to peace in Middle East, said Alexander Sultanov in his statement to press.

He said that they had also discussed what they could do for Iraq as well as the international conference on the Middle East to be held in New York, cooperation with Russia, enhancing trade relations with Russia, and the Lebanese issue.
