Mr. Erdoğan, who flew to Washington on the private plane 'Ana', is planning to stay in Washington for three days before heading to the UN general meeting in New York, which begins on Monday.
Landing first in New York, the prime minister left his entourage and headed for Washington. Erdoğan met his youngest son Necmettin Bilal, daughter-in-law Reyyan Erdoğan, and their new son, Ömer Tayip, in one of Washington's most exclusive hotels, The Willard.
The prime minister met with family in a hotel for security reasons.
Three days with Ömer Tayyip
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in Washington yesterday at 7am Turkish time, accompanied by wife Emine Erdoğan and youngest daughter Sümeyye, to visit his newly born second grandson Ömer Tayyip.
