The general manager of Turkcell, Süreyya Ciliv, said he could not believe the ones saying 'it is too soon for 3G' and added: " I do not like being included among the second or third class citizens. Turkey is not a third world country. Some of our competitors say 'it is too soon for Turkey to have 3G'; I do not believe that this is true. We are not so behind; we are not that bad."
Ciliv said: " Why should we stay behind while all the people in the world are using such an advanced technology. We are an ambitious and forward country. So, we have a lot to do."
