Prime Minister Erdoğan stated that there are unethical hindrances in blocking tourism investments and added: " we tell them to build a hotel out of ruins, and they object to our idea."

Prime Minister Erdoğan addressed tourism executives: " when entrepreneurs want to investment, they tend to face unethical and illegal hindrances. As İnönü had said, honest people can not achieve anything unless they are as bold as the dishonest." The PM stated that hotel investments in Istanbul are being prevented and complained to tourism executives about bureaucracy and non-governmental organizations. Prime Minister Erdoğan stated that the capacity of the hotels in Istanbul is not enough which makes congress tourism difficult. The PM said: " it is not that they do not want to make investments. I have witnessed numerous barricades put up against investments. Entrepreneurs who want to build hotels face many unethical and illegal hindrances. These investments add to Istanbul's beauty. We are aware of the troubles; however, we need to fight together."
